Barbara Vey's home destroyed in Hurricane Ian

Hi,

I'm author Tina Wainscott (www.tinawainscott.com to verify), a friend of booklover and author advocate and former Publisher's Weekly blogger, and host of the Barbara Vey Reader Appreciation events. (Barbara and me pictured above) Barbara is a beloved friend to many of us, reader and author alike, and she needs our help. Her mobile home was destroyed by water in the hurricane. Luckily, she evacuated and is safe, but everything she owns, including her scooter, was destroyed. I'm creating this fund so that we can help her get her essentials and find new living quarters. It will be a long time before the Ft. Myers Beach area will be livable, and the mobile will never be viable again.

She's staying with me right now, safe and doing well, considering. Anything you can contribute to help her get back on her feet would be greatly appreciated! Hugs!
