Somos Hermod Racing Team, un equipo de estudiantes de Ingeniería de Automoción de la Universidad de Vic (UVic-UCC), apasionados por el mundo del motorsport con una gran afición por el motociclismo, así como las nuevas tecnologías.
Actualmente tenemos diversos proyectos relacionados con el vehículo eléctrico. Entre ellos el desarrollo y prototipaje de una motocicleta eléctrica off-road para participar en la competición internacional de Barcelona SmartMoto Challenge, donde se pone a prueba la innovación y la ingeniería que hay detrás del desarrollo completo del prototipo.
Barcelona SmartMoto Challenge es una competición internacional anual celebrada en Parcmotor Castellolí donde retan a las universidades de todo el mundo a diseñar y fabricar un motocicleta off-road de competición 100% eléctrica incorporando elementos tecnológicos innovadores. Clasificándose en dos categorías, se encuentran las motocicletas Trail de hasta 35KW y las motocicletas de enduro de hasta 10KW dónde se encuentra nuestro objetivo, haciendo una motocicleta ágil, divertida, práctica y eficiente.

We are Hermod Racing Team, an Automotive Engineering student team from the university of Vic (located near Barcelona). We are passionate about the motorsport world and new technologies.
At the moment, we have various projects related to the electric vehicle. One of them is to develop an off-road motorbike in order to compete in the international competition Barcelona SmartMoto Challenge. It is an engineering competition that tests the innovation and design of the prototype.
Barcelona SmartMoto Challenge is an International competition that takes place annually in Parcmotor Castellolí,
where universities around the world are challenged to design and produce a competition off-road motorcycle all electric
incorporating innovative technology elements. It is classified in two different categories. The first one is a Trail motorcycle with a maximum power of 35 kW. Whereas the second one, which is our objective, is an off-road motorcycle with a maximum power of 10kW that makes it more agile, practical and efficient.
We want to ask for your support, not only can you help us with money. Follow us on our social networks, share the page, send us information or material... we will be happy with any sign of help to the team.
