BAREFOOT FOR BATTERSEA UPDATE

My original introductory posting and story appears to be below this update.

#Well I'm pleased to say that I successfully climbed Mount Snowden, barefoot, in wales last June 7th 2022.

It was challenging to say the least, and was the inspiration behind going on to take on further barefoot challenges thereafter, for my 'Barefoot for Battersea' campaign.

Although my original target was to raise £1000 for Battersea I want to continue beyond this and raise as much as possible.

I would like to take the opportunity to thankyou all who have showed unfailing kindness and donated so far to make this possible. A thankyou to Battersea for their behind the scenes support. And a special thankyou to my daughter Shannon and her dog Hopper, and of course our late dog Riley, who, together kept me going throughout my continuing campaign.

Hi my name is Andrew White.

Sadly, our beautiful family dog Riley passed away last year aged 13.

We miss him so much.

Please join me in helping to raise funds for Battersea Dogs and Cats, for those animals who may never have a loving home and family like Riley did.

I'm hoping to climb Mount Snowdon, in Wales, this summer, BAREFOOT. 

As I am recently retired I am currently spending a lot of my spare time training barefoot around my local area in Market Rasen, to be able to make this happen.
