BAREFOOT GEORGE (George Miller)

My family has set up this fund for my dad George Miller; he is 74 years old and a faithful Christian. He has worked his whole life for his family. He is devoted to his church and community. While working with a company, he started his own lawn service. He built his business to the point that he could leave his day job and do his lawn business full time. Over the years, he has gained and maintained most of the same customers for over 20 years. His customers know him as "BAREFOOT GEORGE" with George's Lawn Care. His customers have come to love him for his dedication and reliability as not only their lawn man but a great friend over the years.

In 2021 his wife became very ill. My father struggled but somehow managed to take care of her and still find time to continue his business and service his customers. Unfortunately January 2022, the Lord called my stepmom home. My dad has struggled with losing his wife and misses her daily. My dad has managed to find the strength to get up every day and continue his lawn service and dedication to his customers. Not only is his work rewarding and getting him out of the house, but it is also needed to live financially.

On Tuesday, September 6th, my dad was walking down the street picking up cans and cleaning up some when he noticed that someone had cut the chain off his gate and stolen his lawn trailer with all the equipment used in his business, $25,000 worth. Every bit of equipment that he purchased with his hard-earned money over the years. The theft of his equipment puts him in a position not to be able to do his job and take care of his customers and also puts him in a financial bind.

His kids and grandchildren have set up this go fund me page in hopes of reaching out to the community that he loves and has serviced his whole life, in hopes of being able to give back to George Miller, "BAREFOOT GEORGE" George's Lawn Care, in his time of need.
