Barefoot Olly Moore European and worlds competition help

Hi,

My name is Olly I am 15 years old. I am currently the British National Champion in Barefoot waterskiing for trick and slalom. I have been selected for ‘Team GB Barefoot water skier.’I Competed for the first time last year nationally and globally. Team GB came away with a sliver medal in the European championships.

Barefoot skiing is a unique water-sport were the skier travels behind the motorboat at high speeds upto 45mph, whilst holding a rope that is attached to the boat with nothing on their feet! Hence the name ‘barefoot’

This year I have competed in the British nationals, I am competing in European and African championships in Maurik and the

WORLD BAREFOOT CHAMPIONSHIPS in Florida 2024  in the disciplines of Trick and Slalom.

I train most weekends at my local ski club white cross in Selby and various sites around the UK with team GB.

As you can imagine the cost of coaching, equipment and travel to and from events is huge! 

Barefoot waterskiing is a self funded sport and all costs have be raised by me and family in order for me to compete and continue to be a member of Team GB.

I am hoping to raise enough money to help me with some of the costs for the upcoming 2024 season. I know I am asking a lot and I wholeheartedly appreciate anything anybody can give no matter how small it all adds up so please do not be put off donating if you think it would not be enough I promise you everything is so much appreciated and I can only promise everybody I will go out there and make each and every one of you very proud.
