From Homelessness & Addiction To Building A Dream—Now I Need Your Help
Just A Few Years Ago, I Was Homeless And Struggling With Addiction. By The Grace Of God, I Turned My Life Around, Got Sober, And Worked Relentlessly To Build Barking Bliss.A Thriving Dog Boarding Business I Started From My Garage. Over The Past Two Years, I’ve Poured Everything Into This Business, Working 15-Hour Days With No Days Off To Create A Safe And Loving Place For Dogs While Providing For Myself.
After Finally Getting In A Position To Expand Into A Bigger Location, I Hit A Devastating Roadblock. The City Has Shut Me Down Until I Can Submit A Conditional Use Permit, A Process That Will Take 3-6 Months. During This Time, I Am Unable To Operate, Meaning No Income To Cover Rent, Business Expenses, Or Finish Construction On The New Space.
I’ve Come Too Far To Let This Dream Die. I’m Asking For Your Support To Help Me Keep Barking Bliss Alive During This Unexpected Shutdown. Every Donation Will Go Directly Towards Covering Rent, Business Bills, And Ensuring That When We Reopen, We Come Back Stronger Than Ever.
Thank You For Believing In My Story—And For Helping Me Continue This Journey.
