Barksdale Family Fire Rescue Fund

Tragedy struck on December 9th when Cindy's home caught on fire with her five beloved dogs inside.  The house is a total loss and sadly four of the dogs perished in the fire and one remains in critical condition.   

We are currently raising funds to help Cindy and her family with housing over the holidays, the vet bills for the injured dog, and for other essential basic needs. 

Cindy is a single mom and entrepreneur and owner of C. Barksdale Catering and has used those cooking skills to give back to her community. 

She is known to many as a  tireless "volunteer" who have donated countless hours to organizations like South Tampa Fellowship, the Celebrate Recovery Program the Seminole Heights Baptist Church, the Pink Magnolia Charities, the Plant High School Choral Dept, the Entertainment Revue Foundation, and many others.
Her selfless nature was passed on to her children.  Her daughter Erica is a missionary working the impoverished communities in Alabama with the Light of the Village organization and son Trevor is currently serving in the United States Air Force.

Cindy is currently staying with a friend and her children are returning home to help her but they will need a place to stay which is close to her kitchen as she must keep her catering business going during this busy holiday season.
