Barnaby the Calf

About a week ago we were approached to see if we could help a calf who had been born with his front knuckles bent over

The farm he had been born on had started a course of treatment but didn't have the time or resources to continue with the required level of care and so were looking for alternatives to pts

Today we made the long 8 hour round trip to collect Barnaby in our sanctuary trailer and he arrived back at our farm site this afternoon.

Thankfully the traffic wasn't too bad and he was checked several times on the journey

Our farm vets came to visit to assess the disability and we are working with them to hopefully correct Barnaby's legs so that he can enjoy a full life at the sanctuary :)

This fund raiser is to hopefully cover the additional costs for equipment, medications and vets costs although if anyone reading this would like to help by sponsoring the little fellow on a monthly basis that would be amazing
