Barney Gentry Memorial and Medical Fund

Hello Friends,

We are Al and Carrie Sargent. It has been our privilege to have known and loved our friends Barney and Kelly Gentry for over 30 years. Sadly, Barney passed away suddenly at the age of 54 this past Wednesday, April 5, 2023. He leaves behind his wife Kelly and their three children. Barney and Kelly have been a true blessing to us. They are our youngest son’s Godparents and they stood next to us as we renewed our wedding vows almost 15 years ago. Barney was an avid sports fan, active in his church, and would give you the shirt off his back while Kelly asked what else you needed. We know their often expansive generosity has been experienced by everyone who knows them. With Barney’s unexpected passing has come many hospital bills, funeral costs, and lost income for the family. We are asking for donations in lieu of flowers for Kelly and the family. If you can help them with these expenses it would be a great gift and comfort to the family in Barney’s memory.
