Thank You For Helping Save Baron!
URGENT! Baron is a four-year-old rescue kitty who's currently at the Animal Care Center of Plainfield, Illinois (http://www.animalcareinfo.com/animal-center-plainfield.html) with a urinary tract obstruction. The catheter that's been in him for two days is not helping and the only hope of saving his life is surgery. Unfortunately, Baron's parents don't have the $1,500 it will cost and the veterinary center won't accept a payment plan (they were also unable to obtain a Care Credit card - they really have tried everything).
It is killing his mommy, Liz (Elizabeth Wilke), to even think about her kitty dying at only four years old over money. I'm writing this because she's simply too devastated to form coherent sentences at the moment. Baron is a sweet, loving boy who could have another 10-15 good years with this surgery (a perineal urethostomy - http://www.michigananimalhospital.com/page/421567612), but who will die (probably of very painful sepsis) if he doesn't get it.
Any little bit—even $1—will help. Your generosity would be going to a much deserving family. They have three kids—Tre, Ella and Lanaya—who adore little Baron more than anything. He's an indoor kitty who is deeply loved and well cared for. If you can, please help.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
