My name is Michael Deering II. I am a City Councilor and football coach here in Barre.

I am raising funds for a family of 4 here in Barre. This Family has lost everything in the flood. After being evacuated and having to leave their apartment they are now unable to go back to their old apartment. This family has experienced a total loss with everything they had.

Despite losing everything, this young man still wanted to give back to the community he loves by cleaning up area businesses with some of his football teammates. Without hesitation, he jumped into action providing labor to his community.

The funds will be used to provide the necessary support for this family to help them get back on their feet. They are in need of clothes, shoes, food, and stable housing to name a few. This is an incredible family trying to overcome incredible odds. I know we are Vermont Strong and can help this family get back on their feet.
