Barrington Suites Relocation After Temple Tornado

Donation protected
The City of Temple is making Barrington Suites complete repairs and get up to code, meaning all of the residents must vacate. The last deadline date we have heard is July 25th...

After the tornado on May 28, I saw a comment on Facebook from a woman who needed help. I was running supplies and food from the National Guard and Bell County Business Group. Melinda Bass is now my friend. She is on oxygen and can't drive, so I networked with other business owners and delivered food. Upon arriving, I understood I was walking into a much bigger situation...

Many people helped in different ways while their power was out, but there are so many residents that do not have anywhere to go. These are low-income apartments and there is nothing available within their budgets. Many do not have transportation or are on fixed incomes. Some are disabled, some have children.

This GoFundMe is for the residents of Barrington with Melinda as the beneficiary. This will be used to help Melinda find a new place to live, as well as other residents. She has been our point of contact for Barrington Suites may need since the tornado.
