Barry "Bear" Warren Needs Your Help!

Hi, if you lived in or around Red Wing then you probably know Barry Warren, better known as "Bear", and if you know Bear, you have a friend! Because Bear is a unique individual that will make you smile.

On Monday, May 17, 2022, Bear was seriously injured and underwent surgery to save his left thumb, right now, it is too early to know whether the surgery was successful and there is a good chance Bear will lose his thumb.

So here's the thing, Bear has never been overly concerned about having lots of money but, the bottom line is that this injury will affect his ability to work, put food on the table and pay his bills over the next several months with or without his thumb. Thumbs are important and necessary!

Bear is not looking for a handout, this man has worked alongside Red Wing refuse & recycling employees for 12 years, showing up on time and ready to go every day! He isn't getting any younger, and he still has a tough recovery ahead of him.

I have known Bear the entire time of his employment, and he has never let us down and is the ambassador of goodwill and positivity. If you can help, please do it; it is the right thing to do for a person who has earned a little goodwill from his community.
