Barry Hill’s Final Journey – Help His Family

Help Us Say Goodbye to Barry Wade Hill
Two years ago, our father, Barry Wade Hill, lost his job due to worsening health. Since then, he and his wife Matonda have faced an uphill battle—physically, emotionally, and financially. Just recently, after finally being approved for disability, we were hit with devastating news: Barry was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
This past Saturday, his condition rapidly declined. He is now unresponsive and in a coma. The doctors have placed him on death watch. As a family, we are doing everything we can to make him comfortable and to prepare for the heartbreak ahead—but the financial strain is more than we can bear alone.
Barry is a father to five children and a proud grandfather to six. He was a firefighter, a programmer, and a man who lived a life of quiet strength and love. He spent his life serving others, and now we humbly ask for help to honor his final days and give him the dignity he deserves.
Funds raised will go toward medical expenses, funeral costs, and supporting Matonda during this incredibly painful time. Any donation, big or small, is a blessing to our family.
Thank you for your love, support, and prayers.
Barry Wade Hill – April 24, 2025, 12:15 AM
With great sorrow, we share that Barry passed away peacefully in the early hours of April 24th, 2025. I was holding his hand at 12:15 AM when he took his last breath. He left this world with dignity, strength, and the love of his family wrapped around him.
We thank every one of you who has supported us—whether by donating, praying, or simply being there. The fundraiser will remain open as we now prepare for his funeral and help Matonda through the days ahead.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
