Barry Steed's Road to Recovery

As many of you know, Barry suffered a massive heart attack on March 19, 2024. Not realizing how badly his heart had been damaged, he experienced a setback in his recovery on April 14. The left side of Barry's heart is functioning at less than 10% right now. He is currently at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, awaiting a permanent device to help his heart function OR a heart transplant.

Throughout this process, Barry has had 3 separate life flights, multiple surgeries and procedures, all in an effort to preserve his life. We are so grateful to the Lord for being near during all of this AND for all the incredible medical personnel who have worked so diligently to care for him.

Now, we need your help! I am Barry's niece, Kady, and organizing this fundraiser is an honor. I have had the privilege of hearing how my uncle has impacted those around him through his life and his ministry. On behalf of the entire family, thank you all for your kind words and your prayers. We are grateful to be surrounded by so many prayer warriors!!

As you can imagine, these medical events have created and will continue to create financial strain for this family. Any gift will make an incredible impact towards helping The Steed Family focus on what is most important - and that's helping Barry heal!
