Barry the Cardiac Service Dog
Barry has saved my life countless times, and now it is time to save his. Barry has an abnormal large mass on his leg that the doctor says is not fatty tissue. Because this tumor could be cancerous, he will be going into surgery next week to have it removed. The current costs are blood work, X Rays, surgery, anesthesia , IV fluids and biopsy costs from a private lab.
I have had Barry for 11 years and he has been an active service dog for 8 of those years, detecting heart attacks 30 minutes before they happen. In 2017 he earned the Heart Saver Award from the American Heart Association. He has saved my life more times than I can count and has been the best companion a person could hope to have. We are hoping this surgery can save his life and give us more years to spend with him. Any donation helps, thank you for taking the time to read this and help save Barry.
