Barry’s Top Surgery!

Hello, everyone! My name is Barry, and I’m a 25-year-old trans man living in sunny Long Beach, CA with my beautiful wife, our best friend, and our dog and cat. I’m a speech therapist who works primarily with kiddos with special needs. My top surgery is scheduled for December 13, but due to recent financial upheavals in our house (job loss, hours being cut, etc.), I haven’t been able to save up money for my surgery copay and pay the bills at the same time. I am the only person in my little family with a salaried job, and living in SoCal comes with a hefty price tag. I have to pay $700 for the surgery, but I also have the cost of pre-op appointments and medication staring me down with no ability to pay. I would so, so greatly appreciate any help I can get to both provide for my family and have access to this life-changing surgery.
