Barry’s Xmas Blessing

This time last year I received a devastating phone call at 1-15am. It was a call I wasn’t expecting, to tell me that my best mate from childhood, BARRY DUFFY, had passed away. Everyone would have known Barry from his time in the doors of Derry nightclubs, or simply just seen him out walking. Barry was taken from us far too early and will always be remembered and never forgotten because of his legacy. Last year, in Barry’s memory, we blessed a wee family in Creggan for the Xmas and new year period. The blessing consists of electricity/heating/food/toys and any other requirements for the family. This year we will be hoping to bless a few families in memory of our dear friend Barry.

This go fund me page is set to extend BARRYS BLESSING to help a few families in the Creggan community that will struggle, for whatever reason over the Xmas and new year period. Hopefully BARRYS BLESSING will relieve stress and pressure on the families identified and have them look forward to a merry Xmas this year without added pressures.
