Barsky Gallery of Hoboken will rebuild!

Donation protected
Barsky Gallery has been part of the Hoboken community for nearly 11 years. Unfortunately, the deadly building explosion and 3-alarm fire at the historic Chambord building on December 20th has left our art gallery and all that was inside in ruins - relentless water pressure and smoke destroying artwork and ravaging the office, furniture, and storage space. With gratitude to the community that I enjoyed being a part of for so many years, I ask for your help in caring for our talented artists by replacing lost artwork and reviving the gallery to its past glory.

The funds collected here will help offset various expenses including legal fees, storage, lost revenue, displacement and relocation fees, and ultimately the foundation of starting over. I will be working towards rebuilding the gallery within the boundaries of Hoboken where I have lived for over 25 years, and your contribution would go a long way in helping the gallery become a vital part of the community once again.

I am so thankful to the Hoboken Fire, Police, and EMS for their bravery and tireless work. Two lives were lost, as well as the livelihoods of many with small businesses in this large building complex. I will share developments as they come forward…
