Help Bart get to the 2022 Crossfit Games

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jane and my amazing husband Bart has qualified for the 2022 Crossfit Games. Bart lives and breathes fitness -- he works full time as Jetts Australia's national fitness manager, trains enthusiastically with our local CrossFit Sisyphus community, and loves nothing more than helping others reach their fitness goals. Fitness is Bart's vocation, his lifestyle and his passion.

Bart is an inspirational cancer survivor who also has a degenerative neurological condition called peripheral sensorimotor neuropathy. He will be competing in the Neuromuscular Adaptive division at the Crossfit Games, having qualified 5th in the world. Bart has very little sensation below the knees, poor balance and limited power in his legs, as well as a range of other symptoms affecting his sleep, recovery and coordination. In typical Bart fashion, he has never let his condition define him. He's constantly searching for ways to build his fitness and reach his goals, and frequently encourages others to do the same!

Bart and I are also expecting our second child in early July 2022. We love CrossFit and would like nothing more than to attend as a family, but the costs are overwhelming. We estimate that Bart's travel, accommodation and insurance alone will cost $20,000.

Please help us get Bart to the Games to represent Australia!

All donations, however small, are appreciated and gratefully received.
