Bart Jeffrey Dowdle was born March 1, 1960. He just celebrated his 64th Birthday. Just eight short days later my dad passed a way to the other side to be with family who has gone before him. He graduated from pain he was in so much at end of his life.
As much my Dad fought the good fight and Spencer wants to take on that responsible of taking care our family. They are in desperate need of help to pay for a memorial for my Dad and to have money to live on till they sell there home in Massachusetts and move cross country closer to where I am now.
We ask instead of flowers please send money to this go fund me account and the memorial will be held a date to be determined.
My amazing mom wrote this about my Dad, her eternal companion,
My Song of Bart
As sure as the Sun will rise that is what your example has been for me.
As true as my knowledge that Jesus Christ lives that is how true you are for me.
You are my foundation, the mast that keeps my sales upright.
You've weathered all the storms of my childhood, been walked through every trauma.
You keep, keeping on. Even when I've tried to prove you as the rest!
Your tenacity, is uncanny, firm yet gentle enough for me to think it's my own.
You've been my teacher, my friend, my deliverer. My sounding board, my dart board.
You've taken the flack, the push back, the accusations and the blows.
How were you ever created to be so perfect for me? How did God make you to be what I
Would need?
Seeing you, knowing you gives me sure knowledge that God is real and Loves me beyond
Comprehension! Because he made you! You had to been preparing for millions of millenniums
To be the one true north in my mixed up world. Thank you, Thank God, for loving me without ceasing. For showing my worth, by your showing up for me!
You are my special angel sent from God above. I know I have great worth in God's eyes because I have great worth in yours! I love you, I love you, I love you because you have truly loved me first!!!!!
My Older Brother Spencer also wrote of my Dad for his Birthday,
Seeing my dad for his 64th birthday it was such a miracle to have him when this earth as long as we did to have the presence of uncle Eric and uncle Warren uncle Ryan uncle Lance and aunt Deana having such a beautiful weekend for his 64th birthday. I love my dad very much. now is my turn in charge and my promise to my dad before he passed away. I told him now I will make sure my family is taking care of. That is my duty as the oldest is my gift and my responsibility I feel it’s a treasure and a blessing to be able to take care of the family. My dad, he is and was a steady, hard-working person that never gave up on anything or anyone he was such and is such a role model of a hard worker a person that never wavered on taking care of his family, even towards the very end he fought the great fight. He knew that the Lord was with him.
