Basheer Nasir Ahmed Youth Development Scholarship

Basheer Nasir Ahmed was a visionary, humanitarian, and leader in his community in Markham, Canada. In as much as he was a loving husband, father, son, and software professional with immense loyalty to his customers, colleagues,  and friends, he was also a tireless advocate and supporter of the youth and of seniors in his local community. Whether speaking to the youth about career choices, arranging breakfast and exercise programs for our seniors, or at the frontline of fundraising efforts for Masjid Darul Iman in Markham, Basheer was an inspiration to us all. His dedication and unwavering support towards faith and community service were unparalleled. So many of you have asked how you could support Basheer’s legacy. We have set up this gofundme page to raise funds to support the causes which Basheer so passionately worked for in his life. In particular, your contributions will be used to award scholarships for 5 young men and women in his local community to pursue computer science and engineering majors in college.
