Basingstoke to Ashford July 2024

In July 2024, I am raising money to help improve the quality of life of someone special to me: my sister-in-law, Carol. I am cycling 122 miles from Basingstoke to Ashford in a single day, which, as anyone who cycles knows, is quite some distance - a tough challenge.

Carol's life took an unexpected turn when she suffered a stroke after major heart surgery, and I am raising money to buy equipment and help pay for the support she needs to regain some independence and quality of life at home.

A sense of community is important to me, especially over the past few years, when I've been involved in local charity cycling challenges with The Arkriders, raising money for local cancer and homeless charities.

This particular challenge is extra special to me because the cause is so close to home, and I'd love it if you could sponsor me to help this special lady.
