Basingstoke u10’s ‘leave nobody behind’ tour

Hi my name is Simon Hawthorne , I’m head coach of the u10’s at Basingstoke rugby club.

We currently have a squad of 28 (20 boys & 8 girls) 8 coaches 1 team manager 1 first aider all volunteers.

This will be our last season as a mixed girls & boys group, the girls move from a mix team to a girls only team.

Most of these children have been playing together since they were five years old. We would like celebrate this by going on a tour to North Devon as a complete group for the last time . This would be our first and only tour together as one team. The cost of living crisis has hit many families and people across the country. Some of our rugby families can not afford to send their children on this tour. We do want not leave anyone behind that wants to go on tour.

Rugby is like family to these children all abilities train and play the game. We have raised just under 2k enough for the deposit. Please help us meet our target and put a smile on all these children’s faces.
