Bassenian Lagoni Architects CANstruction® 2023

Hello friends and family! Bassenian Lagoni Architects will once again be participating in CANstruction® Orange County this year! This exciting opportunity combines the fun of a design-build competition with the important need to help feed hungry people. Structures go on display to the public at South Coast Plaza throughout the month of September. At the close of the exhibition, all canned food used in these structures is donated to the OC Food Bank, for distribution to shelters, soup kitchens and other emergency feeding programs.

As an homage to the great beaches here in Orange County, we will be CANstructing a lifeguard tower, reminiscent of a classical tower found along our coasts. At 10’ x 10’ x 7’, the structure contains approximately 6,450 cans of food, all to be donated at the end of the exhibition.

Please consider donating to our structure and this great cause. 100% of the funds will be used to purchase the necessary cans. You can view our build along with the other entries at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa throughout the month of September! Thank you!
