Bates Academy Academic Games 2016

Hi Everyone!

    We are the Bates Academy Academic Games Team. This year, we have set our goal for $15,000 to send our team  to the Super Tournament in March of 2016. Our team needs this money by Febuary 27, 2016. 

   We are known for winning many State Championships. We have also made it to the National Tournament every year for the past 33 years. The players on our team give up their lunch to practice every day , and we also practice Thursdays after school and on the weekends.
We students take Academic Games as a class throughout the week and we go to Saturday tournaments once a month. Every Wednesday or Friday we have in class tournaments, where we practice our skills with the games and compete to have the best team in the class.

   Mr. Holstein single-handedly teaches, coaches and buys the materials for our Academic Games Team. He has been commited to Academic Games and DPS for 33 years. Unfortunately, DPS does not give enough funding for our Academic Games team, and it is up to Mr. Holstein, our fruit sales, and hopefully you all to help and support us to get to the Super Tournament.
