Hey everyone, this is Batrina’s youngest daughter, Zaineb. I appreciate all of you for taking the time to read this. On July 24th 2023 my mother was taken to the hospital and we were told that she was very very sick. For 12 days straight my mom fought harder than ever for her life. Sadly she lost that battle on August 4th 2023. Being told your mom isn’t going to make it is something no one is ever ready to hear. She was a mother to 3 (and 2 dogs she loved so much), a sister to 3, a grandmother to 2, and a friend to everyone she came into contact with. It gives the family a little bit of peace knowing she’s pain-free now after having to be a fighter her entire life. In 2005 my mom was stabbed 15 times and had been battling the flashbacks since then. In 2008 she lost her best friend; her dad. In 2013 my mom lost everything, her apartment, her dog, and most of all; her kids. In 2019 she lost her mother. In 2022 she lost a best friend; Harley. Life was never easy for her. But now it’s 2023 and she had made it this far, she planned on making it farther but the Lord called her home way too early. I am blessed for the 18 1/2 years I had with this wonderful strong woman by my side, the person that gave birth to me and loved me every second of my life. She cared for her family more than she cared about anything. She once told me something that I will never forget, she said “ For memories I will see you again love you to the moon and back infinity times don't be sad I'm always your mom I always love you so much no matter where I am, Ribit ribit.” She always wanted me to succeed in life, she would tell me to become a doctor so that I could buy her a mansion and an orange avalanche truck. She told me that I better wipe her butt and change her diapers when she gets too old, that’s a memory that I will never forget along with many others. She may be gone but in our hearts, she will live forever. This GoFundMe is for the costs of her Cremation, I understand life can get hard sometimes so if you are unable to donate, please share. Share as much as you can so my family can find a little peace having my mother close to us all again. And again, thank you for taking the time and reading about my amazing mother.
