Battle Grounds Sign Swap

We were able to find some helpers for the install of the sign and it has reduced the cost to us greatly. We have raised $We now need to raise $2100.00 we have raised $490.00 so far so we only need to raise $1610.00 to reach our new goal!

Some of you may be aware that I recently I opened a Gaming Cafe featuring hobby board games, collectable card games and miniature tabletop games. We have paired that with an incredible espresso bar. We opened on January 15th and are very excited to bring this business to the Hollywood district in Portland Oregon.

The journey to opening has been full of ups and downs and one of the issues we have encountered is regarding the street sign in front of the business.

With all of the expenses of opening a business and some surprise costs we weren't anticipating (approx. $9000.00 in additional permits etc.) we find ourselves unable to afford to change out the previous business' signage. A dispensary was in the space before us, and it has created a bit of confusion for people trying to find us and to just advertise that we have that lovely, caffeinated elixir, teas and specialty beverages!!

We have gotten some quotes for the sign, and they range from $3600.00 to $5500.00 for the work. Frankly until we can generate more revenue, we cannot afford to make the change out. And without the change out, we will continue to see fewer visitors to our business.

I am humbly reaching out to the community, family and friends and asking for a little help to get us to our goal.

Once we achieve our goal, we will have a special private catered event to celebrate the sign and the amazing people that helped make it happen!
