Support Blain's Medical Costs

Blain has suffered with portal vein hypertension, potral vein thrombosis, bleeding ulcers and cronic pain since the day he was born, doctors said that he would not live to see five years old.  After multiple surgerys and a few close calls he is still here by the grace of God. Recently he was having unbareable stomach pain so i brought him into the emergerncy room, after a CT scan they found large blood clots in the veins throughout his small intestines and smaller clots leading into the arteries attached to other major organs. He was transfered an hour away to another hospital with specialists who could handle his case, he was put onto blood thinners to deminish the clots but after an endoscopy was told that with the portal vein hypertension and portal vein thrombosis that being on blood thinners was basically suicide. A little while later they informed me and Blain that he would need a liver and small bowel transplant and all of the veins leading to these organs would need to be replaced, or he would have less than two years to live. There are only a handful of doctors who are able to do such an extensive surgery and even less who would know what to do with such a complicated case. We are trying to get to all of the doctors that we possibly can to begin to be put onto transplant lists and get second opinions, we are selling everything that we own and moving in with a family member so that we can afford to just get to as many doctors as possible. We have to find an insurance that will accept him with all of his preexisting conditions, but even if he does get accepted they will only cover a portion of his surgery and medications.
