Battlin' for Mallory
Donation protected
The Administration, Faculty, Staff and Students of Minersville Area School District are coming together once again to raise funds to benefit one of their own. For the second time the students in the Class of 2017 have learned one of their classmates have been diagnosed with cancer. Mallory Ebert, a senior at Minersville Area High School, was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Mallory is what many would view as your typical teenager. Mallory is a conscientious and hard-working student. She is ranked at the top of a very competitive senior class, consistently maintains Distinguished honor roll status and studies a very rigorous course load. Mallory is also very involved in school activities. She is a leader on the varsity soccer and softball teams. She is a member of the Spanish Club, SADD, TAT, Yearbook and Prom Committees. To add to her impressive resume, she also finds time to volunteer in her community through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society. Now we are asking the community to return the favor. The funds raised through this campaign will be donated directly to the Ebert family to assist with expenses that result from her hospitalization and treatments.
Mallory lives in Minersville with her parents Dave and Linda. She has two older sisters Mariah and Melissa.
