Battling Brain Cancer - My journey

I have started this Go Fund Me on behalf of my son, Marcus. As open as he may be, he struggles to ask for help when it gets tricky. As many of you already know, he received some devastating news recently. Marcus experienced many headaches and went on to have a seizure at the end of last year. Many investigations have been done, and initially, he was diagnosed with epilepsy triggered by migraines. However, further scans have dealt a much worse hand in life. Marcus has been diagnosed with a low-grade glioma on the left of his occipital lobe. Brain cancer. The scariest thing someone creating a family could hear.

Marcus is only 24 years old, he has a loving and caring partner, Abbie and together, they have a beautiful 14-month-old son, Finn. This young family just starting out in life is now struggling to get their heads around this terrifying news.

With the rising cost of living already being very stressful on such a young family, Marcus also has been out of work for the last 5-6 months, which has obviously impacted his income. Marcus and Abbie have recently secured a move closer to family. I would like to raise some money for them using this Go Fund me to ease their worries for day to day bills, to give them the finances to make their house a home and, more importantly, to give them some freedom to make memories both together and with their son before Marcus undergoes potentially life-changing surgery.
