Maui family left displaced after New Years Blaze.
Dad and his family are without their
home today after early morning fire
burned down the house. My father has
recently been diagnosed and treated for lung cancer stage 4 and has been juggling work, health, and family during these
challenging times. Due to the grace of
god, no one was injured and all of my
relatives are safe. Although the home
was a rental, having the place you call
home get destroyed especially now, and at the start of the new year makes it very difficult to cope with. Not only the house was lost, family treasures such as
pictures, memorabilia, work, personal,
and business documents, maintenance
medication, money, clothing,
transportation, electronics including business and school devices, work supplies
and other items for daily living were
destroyed. We are very fortunate that 1 of the vehicles belonging to the family
was still able to be salvaged and used.
The other 3 vehicles they owned were
also destroyed and lost. In total there are4 adults and 4 children in my family who are displaced at the moment. The kids
are attending online schooling and lost
all their computers and electronic
devices for education as well as
entertainment. Top it all off, it’s a long
holiday weekend and banks are closed.....
rough!
Thanks to the first responders and
firefighters who helped extinguish and
contain the fire so neighboring homes
were not affected.
Appreciate and grateful for the prayers
and sincere concern for my famiIy.
I am creating this fund to help them
move forward after such a blow.
My dad is such a kind and hard working
guy who helps others as much as he can.
Many times without hesitation and at his loss. I see how much he does for those
around him and look up to him as to how I should do the same. Dealing with news of having lung cancer during scary times with covid rampant, to have his house
burn down, I feel so hurt that he needs
to go thru all he has to fight thru. Never
complains and keeps charging forward.
He just completed another round of
chemo Wednesday just before
todays early morning fire.
I hope some of you who are willing to,
will be able to help donate to the fund so we can help them pick up the pieces. It’s the new year and can change things
around immediately. I kindly look to
those who may be of help and thank you for lending my family a hand.
Want to end by saying thank you for your help and I know god will continue to keep my family safe, strong, and hopeful. I
speak from my heart and hope you know
how much your help will mean to me!
People willing to help people will always be what makes America and the state of
Hawaii strong!
I pray god will bless you for helping thosein need and I will be forever greattful.
