Battling with Brittni
Donation protected
Brittni & Joe Kelleher are lifelong Ellensburg residents and both have been actively involved in the community. Brittni is a Kindergarten teacher at Kittitas Elementary School and Joe is a Firefighter/EMT for the City of Ellensburg.
Having a family of their own has always been a dream of theirs and in June 2020 they found out the reality of that happening naturally was very unlikely, and they would need to proceed with infertility treatments. Unfortunately, infertility treatments are not something insurance covers and they were faced with unforeseen medical expenses from the start.
After many appointments, medications, and hardships Brittni and Joe found out they were expecting a little miracle and started planning their life as three!
At 12 weeks pregnant Brittni went in for a routine appointment where she was told devastating news... She had been diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia.
Brittni and Joe's world has been flipped upside down and they have been faced with many unforeseen medical expenses and travel expenses to and from appointments.
The "game plan" is Brittni will start treatments and beat cancer once she gives birth to their miracle baby girl Logan Gray in late March.
All monetary donations will assist in medical bills, travel expenses to and from appointments, and lodging expenses acquired from treatments.
