Lawyer Expenses

Donation protected
To make a long story short, our previous landlords decided we didn’t make enough money to pay the rent at their house, which they increased by $100. They gave us less than a month to get out, meaning our little family had to pack up and find a new place to live in less than one month. ... We have expressed our concern to the Utah housing  antidiscrimination & labor division. Recently, we received a 7-page certified letter from our previous landlords telling us we did more than $2,500 in damage to the house. This couldn’t be further from the truth. They, for some reason, are trying to black ball us and take us to the cleaners. Anybody who knows me or my family, knows that we would never damage a house beyond normal wear and tear, and we would never not take care of it. We are not going to let them bully us, and question me or my family’s work ethic. We were displaced for no reason, I had to miss work to pack and move my family - all because of discrimination. I’m not going to stand for that. We are going to fight it, but can’t do it alone. Any help we can get to hire a lawyer and fight these ridiculous accusations would be much appreciated.
