Bay de Verde Fish Plant FIRE
Donation protected
Update: I have spoken to the town clerk of Bay de Verde, to Quinlan Bros Inc, CBC Radio, VOCM and doing my best to clarify my project and my intensions. I am simply trying to help and this is NOT a scam.
All funds will be directed to either the town of Bay de Verde if they so wish or Salvation Army/Red Cross.
I am not from Bay de Verde, but do have a home in Ochre Pit Cove not that far away. I hope this helps to clarify. Apologies for any confusion I may have caused.
A complete devastation and total loss of the Quinlan Brothers fish plant this morning at Bay de Verde, employing over 700 people along both shores. Many families will be dramatically affected including the surrounding communities and businesses. Im asking for $100 per employee raised for a total of $70,000. Newfoundlanders and other around the world are extremely generous and can surely reach this goal. ALL funds will be used for any family that is in need to help mitigate the afffects of this disaster. Funds to Salvation Army in support of those affected.
