Baya Bowls -Lahaina Fire

Aloha, dear friends and supporters,

My name is Aria, I am the sister of Ceone, the owner of Baya Bowls in Lahaina. I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and determination to help the families of the Baya Bowl team. Ceone has been very hesitant to start this fundraiser because she is more concerned about the people in the community who lost their homes and loved ones. I have decided to start this because 3 out of 5 of the employees lost absolutely everything in the devastating fire that engulfed the Lahaina community. The food truck and the small event truck were lost in the fire.

I am launching this GoFundMe fundraiser because we just don’t know what the future is going to hold. Ceone plans to rebuild the food truck, but it will likely be different than it was. The employees relied on Baya Bowls to support themselves and their families. The money raised from this will go directly toward the employees in need and to rebuild the business.

The fire that consumed the food truck was a setback that hit the team unexpectedly and left them without a means to continue doing what they love. However, I believe in the strength that can be derived from coming together in times of need. That's why I am launching this GoFundMe campaign, with hopes that you can help the Baya Bowls team get back on its feet in the challenging months to come.
