Bayar Fellowship Fundraising

Dear All,

Following three very successful years with the Bayar Fellowship, we are back for Round Four!

Please consider donating to our fellowship; so far we have had over two hundred high schoolers become recipients. So far, 16 fellows have received scholarships, and over two hundred recipients have received mentors from Ivy League Universities, as well as a week-long professional preparation curriculum to help prepare them for their academic and professional endeavors. With your support, we want to increase those figures this year to eight scholarships of $1,000 each.

The Bayar Fellowship is an initiative designed to:

Encourage low-income high school students to develop an understanding of business as they commit themselves to public service.

-Provide a foundation for which financial literacy can be developed.

-Incubate the business and community leaders of tomorrow.

-Pair awardees with mentors in their interest areas to provide guidance and support through their studies.

-Award EIGHT $1,000 scholarships to high school students who come from low-income, minority backgrounds.
