Crystal's Celebration of Life and Dianne's Surgical Recovery

Donation protected
As many of you may know, we recently lost Crystal due to respiratory failure. She fought bravely to recuperate from a double lung transplant 9 years ago. After suffering a pulmonary embolism and pneumonia in December of 2024, she was admitted to the hospital where she spent the next month. At the end of January, she was discharged to recover at home. Despite promising strides, she slowly declined until she required readmittance in early March for the last time and was taken off life support on March 15th. Crystal was herself a donor and her liver was successfully transplanted saving the life of a 15 year old boy. We are all incredibly grateful for the love, laughter, and light she brought to us all.

We are asking for support in hopefully holding a Celebration of Life on what would have been her 28th birthday, April 13th, details to follow. Due to expenses incurred in equipping her at home recovery, her mother is suffering financial hardship. Dianne also sustained an injury to her Achilles caring for one of Crystal's cats which will require surgery on April 4th. Between Crystal's hospital stays and the injury, Dianne has been out of work since January 4th. Donated funds will go to helping her bridge the gap until her FMLA (family medical leave act) and work disability paperwork are processed.

Thank you in advance for any support offered. All well wishes, prayers, and memories are greatly appreciated.
