To Our Dear Family, Friends and Community, as many of you know, we’ve lost our Beautiful, Precious Angel Baylee while she was attending a festival.
We are heartbroken and devastated. There are no words to describe the magnitude of loss to our Family, to our Community and to the World. We were all so proud of our little girl. She had four Moms that loved and cared for her in so many ways to keep her safe and protected. Baylee had a large family and network of friends who loved her and always looked out for her wherever she went, but even with all that love surrounding her, it wasn’t enough to keep her on this Earth.
Baylee was amazing and special. She touched many hearts with her radiant smile and infectious laugh. She shined with the light of positivity, compassion and love and had the ability to make people feel special and loved just by her smile. Her smile made you smile.
Baylee loved animals and had a special bond with puppies and dogs. She had to pet every dog she ever met. Even when she was in Europe and they didn’t understand her language, her touch made them instantly calm like any dog she encountered.
We are all so proud of the person she was and the person she was to become. Baylee had big hopes and dreams to transfer from Ventura College to Cal Poly SLO where she wanted to study Viticulture and wine making.
Baylee was not afraid to speak her mind or live her life out loud. She was proud of who she was and so comfortable in her own skin. Baylee always stood up for what she believed in, stood up for those who couldn’t stand up for themselves and had a passion in her heart to make this world a better place. As one of her teachers recently said: “The World is a far better place because you were in it”. Baylee “WAS the change” that she wanted to see in the World.
Many people have asked how to help us cope with our loss. Prayers, hugs, positive energy, kindness and your love are appreciated. We need to bring our baby back home and have a beautiful celebration of her life. We thank you for any help you can provide to cover our expenses.
