WE ARE GETTING THERE!!

Bébé La La ~ Celebrating Our 12th Anniversary With A New CD! Please Help Us Finish!! 

Wow, what a long strange trip it’s been! 2020 was the year we’d all like to forget! But, it was also the year that marked the 10th anniversary of Bébé La La ! So, it’s not all bad! We hoped to release our sophomore CD (the follow up to our award-winning debut release, "High Wire,") in 2020, but of course that couldn't happen with the pandemic, which put all of our lives (& projects!) on hold! We were so excited to get back into the studio back in the fall of 2019 to start recording our 10th Anniversary CD with the Bébé La La Band (featuring drummer, Arnaldo Acosta and longtime awesome bassist Mike Fox (who has since moved back to his home in NC)! We were moving full speed ahead and the guys laid down the necessary foundation for 6 songs, plus we had some special guests lay down some beautiful tracks! Then, IT happened… and everything came to a screeching halt!

Although it would have been really cool to release our 10th Anniversary CD in our 10th year, we didn't give up hope! We have continued to slowly but surely work with our wonderful co-producer and recording engineer John Wall, Wall of Sound Studio, and now it is a reality - we ARE releasing it, but in our 12th year!

AND THAT GETS US TO THE HERE AND NOW!  We’re almost there! We only have one more song to mix; we've selected the artwork; we've talked to DiscMakers and are making plans for the final package; AND we've scheduled our CD Release Celebration for Sunday, November 13, 7pm at FUSION Theater in Albuquerque! It's really happening! But HERE'S THE THING: We still have to pay for all the production (getting the CDs printed, the artwork and graphic design and mastering), all of which adds up to approximately $1500! We have spent every penny you have donated thus far and we cannot thank everyone enough for the love and support, but we have just about another mile to go before we're completely done and we could still use your help!

The new CD, which now has a title ~ A Curious Series of Unexpected Events ~is really sounding great and we think you'll love our labor of love! In fact, three of the songs off of the new CD have already been nominated for NM Music Awards, and Alicia's song "Rosie" won the Singer-Songwriter award this past May! Pretty cool eh?!

So many of you have already been so generous with your donations, which has helped us to get as far as we have - THANK YOU! We have also done our best to finance the project ourselves as much as we can, but we need just that final push to help us to the finish line!
