BBQ for Heroes, Ft. Myers - Ian 1st Responders

Hello all! I am Andy Engelbrecht, a Fort Myers native and current resident who works in the lawn and landscape industry in South Florida. I and some colleagues are raising money to obtain supplies and meat and other food to go out and cook for first responders and clean-up teams working in the aftermath of hurricane Ian in the Lee and Charlotte County areas.

I live and work in SWFL and want to use our talents to support the safety efforts. We did this after hurricane Irma and it was much appreciated and a huge success…hot meals mean so much to help these folks recharge when they are at the end of their rope out there. I have numerous friends and family that are first responders and need this type of support.

Monetary donations will help us purchase the tools, food and cooking supplies we need to keep this effort going until we are no longer necessary. Donations of meat, sides, ice and charcoal also accepted locally. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
