Justice for Nate
Donation protected
This is my son Odell "Nate" Parker. His junior year in college he received the devastating diagnosis of a mental disorder called Paranoid Schizophrenia. Although he has done fairly well, being away from family and friends recently with the pandemic, things have become difficult.
On April 4, 2021 Nathan walked out of a local group home in Knoxville. After walking for over an hour and a half, he went into a Walgreens and asked several customers and employees for money. It was perceived that he was attempting to rob them and the police were called. Upon arrival, the police arrested him, where he is currently still incarcerated. I am hoping to raise $1,000 for bail and $5,000 for anticipated attorney fees.
Nathan is not a criminal. Jail is not a place for the mentally ill. He is kind. He loves to laugh and tell jokes! He is not his mental disease. Asking for money is not a crime. Justice for Nate!
