Brough Creek National Construction Fundraiser

Raising money to build Brough Creek National, an unconventional golfing experience focused on fun and open to anyone who wants to play, for free. Brough Creek National (BCN) will be built with thoughtful design and minimalist maintenance techniques. With BCN, we will prove that "good golf" can come in many forms. In order to build something truly special, we need the help of BCN members to purchase soil, seed/sod and a greens mower. 

We will be hosting an event for all members who donate once the course is completed. The course will be dedicated to all BCN members and immortalized with a plaque donning all donors names placed smack dab in the center of BCN. All donors will receive some BCN swag for their contribution and the top 4 donors (measured in impact to BCN’s success) will get to name a hole.

The goal is to achieve $10K in funds raised with $3,500 being the absolute minimum to make BCN a reality. In May, all donations will be compiled and used to purchase and deliver sod, soil and a greens mower to BCN. This is how the funds would be used accordingly:

If we raise $3,500:

·         Plant all grass from seed

·         Minimal green complex shaping, no soil prep

·         Heavily used greens mower

·         Likely opening in 2020

If we raise $6,500:

·         Plant local Zoysia sod for tee boxes, green complexes from seed

·         Some green complex shaping and minimal soil preparation

·         Used greens mower

·         Hopeful to open Fall 2019

If we raise $10,000+:

·         Specialty sod planted on green complexes and tee boxes (Zion Zoysia – very similar to Trinity Forest’s grass)

·         Maximum opportunity to shape green complexes and prepare soil appropriately

·         More drainage options for firm and fast conditions

·         New greens mower and components

·         Open in Summer 2019

All donations will be transferred to the personal bank account of Ben Hotaling. This account was opened exclusively to safely house donations for BCN until May when the donations will be used to purchase sod, soil and a greens mower for BCN.
