Support Michael's Family in Their Time of Need

Our Dad, Michael Dufresne, was the greatest man to our family. He was a man we all counted on for so many things. Myself, my sister Courtney and my brother Jordan, we're fortunate to have him as a father. He also leaves his 3 amazing grandchildren that he loved dearly, and was greeted by his grandson at the pearly gates.

The last month or so he had some major health issues and required an open heart surgery. Following the surgery he was placed on lots of machines and transferred 2 hours from family. It was 3 weeks of traveling before we saw a glimmer of hope. Then he woke up! We all got to see him at least one time and tell him we loved him and chat. He was unable to talk but I know how to lip read "I love you too". It was so relieving to see him after that long road. However it wasn't for long. He became sick, and his body too weak. He fought long enough to tell us he loved us and nodded when we told him when each of next visits would be. Not knowing it was our last. March 27th at 1230 AM I received the heart wrenching call. My world crumbled. Then I had to tear down my siblings, and my children's world. We are all still devastated. This a great loss.

My Dad's health has not been the best, he did his best to live a great life. However his medical bills overtime had forced him to cash out all the Life Insurance he had. I know now he didn't have a choice or else he would not have done it. These past weeks have been financially difficult for us with the traveling, time from work, and managing his affairs in hopes he would recover. Now we also have his final affairs.

We knew to us our Dad was the best and most perfect man! He was a father figure for so many of our friends. In his passing I have the honor of hearing from so many other people and how much he meant to them. That brings my heart so much joy. Others were just as fortunate to know the man we truly loved. With that I would to say Thank-you. Thank you for being kind and loving him. Our family will never be the same. We greatly appreciate any and all help with this loss.
