Hello! My name is Katie, my friend Becca and I are starting this go fundme for our dear friend Carrie ❤️

Have you ever known someone who can light up a room they’re in, just with their smile? Or someone who makes everyone, no matter who they are or where they come from, feel accepted? What about someone who would give anything and everything to a person in need, even if they were a stranger? Carrie Payne is all of those things, and much more. She is a mother to five, a loving wife to a former Jefferson County Policeman, an indispensable employee, a pillar in her church and community, and the most loving and compassionate of friends. She is also, an active breast cancer patient and survivor. Carrie was first diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2019 and has successfully battled this disease resulting in a brief remission in September 2020. In December of 2022, she and her family received the news that her cancer had returned and was metastasized in her bones. Her cancer was stage four.

Since then, she has been bravely undergoing treatment to stop the spread of her cancer, and this has resulted in mounting expenses for their family. Carrie and her family are always the first to help others in need, and share what they have. Even, when times are hard, and they don’t have much to give.
