Devastating House Fire
Donation protected
I have never done a GoFundMe before. I feel absolutely heartbroken for my cousin Carrie and her large multi generational family who lost their home to a fire early Sunday morning. We are incredibly blessed that 15 family members safely exited the home, unfortunately two beloved family cats have been found deceased and two others unaccounted for. Carrie's cats are her babies, I have thoroughly enjoyed her pics of her cats ruling her life :)
Carrie has the biggest heart for her family; she takes in foster kids and just claims people who need love as her own. The family feels safest living as a collective unit. She and her kids/grandkids make large family meals each night (I always think she is hosting a party but its just her nightly dinner for her family) and they travel as a pack. This pack needs your help in a big way! Their home is a total loss with no insurance, they left their house in their pajamas, barefoot and not even a wallet or purse.
Carrie works at our homeless shelter in Tulalip, she spends her time helping other tribal families get on their feet and does a good job! Her husband Lonnie works with our youth and is a coach for our community.
If you have any energy left this year for goodwill, please consider helping Carrie, Lonnie and their family. I believe in our collective ability to help people in need, show me I am right. Please share widely, COVID makes this all a little more challenging...Help, Please!
