BDKS RECOVERY FUND

   Kevin is 33 years old and was recently diagnosed with stage four glioblastoma. The tumor was sitting on his brain stem, feeding off of his brains blood supply and eventually growing to the size of a softball. After major brain surgery, Kevin is fighting through chemo and radiation to be with his loved ones, friends and family. Kevin has lost some cognitive function and basically all of the vision in his right eye, suffers constantly from nausea, pulmonary embolisms, pain, exhaustion, and headaches, and is on a myriad of lengthy and expensive prescription medications. We are also currently awaiting word on some clinical trials as more manageable treatment alternatives to support a better quality of life. Kevin’s doctors have given him a projected life span of 5 months to about 5 years. 

   We have exhausted savings, family help, and needless to say, work is out of the question for Kevin right now and needs our strength and support more than ever.
