Help us! Emergency Funding

Please Help Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital to continue to save lives!

Unfortunately, due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, to help protect the public from its spread the wildlife hospital has had to cancel all of its fundraising events up to the end of June with the possibility of having to cancel events throughout the rest of the summer and the autumn as well. The wildlife hospital receives no government funding, so these events are set up to help the hospital raise invaluable funds that keep the hospital open annually. This involves paying water and electricity bills which are vital to keep incubators and heat mats available for critically ill patients, buying a variety of feeds to help feed the abundance of species which the hospital rehabilitates, covering the expense of veterinary bills and medications, and paying for waste disposal services - to name but a few. But now the wildlife hospital has had to cancel these events there are little to no funds coming in.

The Wildlife Hospital desperately needs your help to allow the staff and volunteers to continue doing the life-saving work of rescuing, rehabilitating, and then releasing wild animals when they cannot help themselves. They take in sick, injured and orphaned wild species to help give these animals a second chance at life when accidents and illnesses occur.

Please donate. Any contribution, big or small, will help the wildlife hospital to continue to help British wild species.

Thank You.
