Unfortunate tragedy a pit bull attacked my poodle

Hello my name is Shannell. I adopted a miniature poodle for my 7year old son. Our poodles name is Freddo. He is about 6 months old and I was walking him outside and he was attacked by a vicious pit bull that randomly appeared out of no where. I fought hard to save freddo from being chewed to death. I was hoping and praying and screaming for someone to help us. Eventually my neighbor came out and went and retrieved a pole and hit the dog over the head several times and he eventually let freddo go. It took animal control and the police almost 2 hours to capture the pit bull from outside of our residence. During those two hours Freddo needed medical attention he was bloody and scared. When we finally got to the pet Er they established that he had several bite marks on his eye, head, neck and his right arm. We have been back and forth to the vet to treat his wounds.

Freddo is a very spunky , friendly, cute and lovable dog. I purchased freddo as a surprise for my son because he always said that he wanted a dog. They are best buds he even refers to him as his brother.

What happened to Freddo is a tragedy. Please help us raise money to help towards his medical treatment which has become an on going battle not only financially but physically and mentally.
