Help Brad Fight Cancer

In December 2021, Bradley Siewert was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma. Sarcoma is a rare type of aggressive cancer found in soft tissue. Brad has already undergone one surgery to remove one of two masses located on the back of his neck. In January, Brad started radiation treatment on the second tumor. After 30 treatments, his tumor shrunk to half its original size, and the plan was to have a second surgery to remove the cancer. However, when the doctors did scans to plan out his surgery, they found nodes in his lungs.

A biopsy was done on the lungs and confirmed that his cancer has metastasized, meaning his cancer is now stage 4. Brad's surgery is postponed until they are able to get control of his cancer. Brad is undergoing aggressive chemotherapy, and is expected to be continuing treatment for most of 2022.

Brad and Hailie will be celebrating their 2 year wedding anniversary in april alongside their newborn son Ivan, born in February of this year. Not to forget their lovable pup, Remy. Before his diagnosis, Brad worked as a firefighter/EMT and was pursing his paramedic license. Brad was forced to pause his schooling, and looks forward to returning to it in the future. Brad is not a man of many words, but if you know him personally, you know that he has the biggest heart and would do anything for the people he loves.

These last four months have not been easy on the Siewert family as Brad is unable to work during this time, and have had to turn to living off of savings.
